National Geoscience Database of Venezuela (NGDV) is the first database in South America and presents geoscience information in different fields such as geology, mineral resources & reserves, geography and natural hazards.
It includes various databases which present services via web.
NGDV is the result of National Geoscience Database of Iran experts' attempts.

Establishing National Geosciences Database was placed on the agenda of the Ministry of Industries and Mines according to the consultative ruling of the Expediency Council in formulating the general policies of the country and its notification by Supreme Leader in the visits of the heads of three forces on March 11, 2000.

Tajikistan Geoscience Database
National Geoscience Database of Tajikistan (NGDTJ) has been implemented with Iranian experts’ help.
Mr. Kore’ee, director of Geological Survey of Iran and undersecretary of minister of Industires & Mines, and Mr. Azim Ibrahim, director of Geological Survey of Tajikistan, have helped a lot in this respect.
NGDTJ aims to collect, organize, and present geoscience information.
The Geological Survey of Iran (GSI) was established in 1962, through a special fund project of United Nations. The GSI is authorized to carry out geological and mineral investigations throughout the country, to collect results of activities performed in this respect, to establish interrelationship and coordination between such activities and to prepare, complete, and publish geological maps of Iran.
